Palm Springs CA

Short on time, but never skipping my Palm Springs faves.

Palm Springs california, American cuisine, wedge salad, chicken, margarita
fancy hotel, Palm Springs california, outdoor dining, brunch, fancy AF
smash burger, lemon Caesar salad, gin gimlet, burger joint

Paul Bar (eat)

This is one of my favorite hidden gems. Tucked away in a tiny strip mall, the exterior is nothing to write home about (and that’s putting it kindly). But the moment you step inside, you’re transported to an old-school supper club. The dim lighting, the long bar, and the ever-welcoming Paul set the perfect atmosphere. While everything on the menu is fantastic, my go-to order is the wedge salad, chicken schnitzel with brussels sprouts, and a classic margarita.

Norma's, Parker Hotel (eat)

Norma's is the ultimate spot for a fancy AF brunch with your best friends. The entire place exudes elegance, from the stunning décor to the beautifully manicured property. The service is top-notch, and you’re never rushed to wrap up your meal. Treat yourself to their Rock Lobster Mango Salad paired with a fabulous cocktail—you won’t be disappointed. Reservations aren’t required, but they’re definitely recommended!

The Heyday (eat)

I can’t decide what I love most about The Heyday—the unbelievably amazing smash burgers, the perfectly old-school crinkle-cut fries, or their house salad that’s pure magic. Oh, and did I mention they even have food for your furry friends? It doesn’t matter because this place is the definition of a classic burger joint. And as if the food wasn’t reason enough to visit, their craft cocktails are absolutely superb.

The Willows (stay)

The Willows is the epitome of old Hollywood glamour. Every detail exudes luxury, from the exquisite breakfast served each morning to the evening cocktails in the elegant sitting room. This stunning boutique hotel features 17 uniquely designed rooms, a serene pool, and a picturesque trail perfect for a morning hike. Best of all, it’s nestled in the Palm Springs mountains—a hidden oasis just a short walk from town.

Palm Springs Museum (art)

Sometimes, you just need to feed your soul, and a day trip to the Palm Springs Art Museum is the perfect remedy. It’s one of my favorite museums—small but always packed with incredible exhibits. Once your soul is satisfied, head downstairs to Persimmon Bistro & Wine Bar to nourish your body. With a jazz band often playing, it’s a double dose of art in the best way possible.

Café La Jefa (coffee)

This charming coffee shop is tucked inside the Flannery Exchange, home to some incredible local boutiques—because what’s better than coffee and shopping? They offer a fantastic selection of breakfast bites and sweet treats, but whatever you do, don’t skip the cookies. They’re absolutely delicious and big enough to share… if you’re feeling generous!
